THE SENSE OF HEARING

The sense of the ear allows us to perceive the sounds, its volume, tone, timbre and the direction from which it comes. The receiving organ is the ear. Its structure is divided into three parts: outer ear, middle ear and inner ear. The vibrations are transmitted through the middle ear by a chain of bones: The Hammer, the anvil and the stirrup. At the same time, they originate waves in the inmate. Those stimuli reach the brain through the upper auditory nerves.

The pinna is the visible part .

    Middle ear: It is a cavity filled with air in the temporal bone, has three very small bones called Hammer, anvil and stirrup

Inner ear: Also called Labyrinth, is composed of a complex system of membranous canals with a bony lining .Here is the auditory center, in the snail and the balance control in the semicircular channels
