THE SENSE OF TASTE
The tongue is the organ of the taste sense.
It has a lot of taste buds.
Taste buds can differentiate five basic taste: sweetness, sourness, saltiness, bitterness, and umami.
In taste buds there´re taste receptor cells that transmits information, along with the sense of smell, through nerve endings to the brain, and then the brain can determinate the flavours.
