WHAT IS THE EXCRETORY SYSTEM?
The excretory system performs the vital function of excretion.
Whitout the excretory system it would be impossible to live.
WHAT ARE THE PARTS OF THE EXCRETORY SYSTEM?
The parts are:
-The kidneys: They are two organs located on both sides of the body and below the waist.-The ureters: They are two tubes that communicate the kidneys with the urinary bladder.
-The bladder: Is a muscular sac in the pelvis, just above and behind the pubic bone.
-The urethra: the urethra is the passageway between the bladder and the external part of the body.
HOW DOES IT WORK THE EXCRETORY SYSTEM?
-The kidneys filter the blood by cleansing it of toxins and excess water.
-The excesses send them through the ureters to the bladder, there they are stored and when trereis enough it is expelled through the urethra. The resulting liquid is urine.
