                           EXCRETORY SYSTEM

The excretory system is responsible for eliminating the (liquid or solid) substances of the body.

  PARTS :

VENA CAVA : Cava veins are the two largest veins in the body. There is an upper vena cava, which receives blood from the upper half of the body, and a lower one, which collects the blood from the organs located under the diaphragm. Both flow into the right atrium of the heart.

AORTA : The function of the aorta is to transport and distribute oxygen-rich blood to all arteries

URETER : They are responsible for transporting urine from the renal pelvis to the urinary bladder. It is a pair of ducts about 3ml thick, and about 25 to 35 cm long in adu

RENAL VEIN : The renal vein is the vein that drains venous blood from the kidney, as well as from the adipose tissue around it, from the adrenal gland and from the upper part of the ureter

RENAL ARTERY : The renal artery is a voluminous artery of the human body and other mammals that is born directly from the abdominal aorta and provides vascularization to the kidney, the initial segment of the excretory pathway and a part of the adrenal gland.

KIDNEY : The two kidneys are vital organs that perform many functions of cleaning and chemical balance of the blood. Knowing how kidneys work can help keep them healthy.

BLADDER : The bladder is a urinary organ whose main function is to store urine from the kidneys for subsequent expulsion of the body, through the urethra, into an action known as urination.

URETHRA : The urethra is a excretory and reproductive canal  of approximately 3.5 cm in females and 12 cm in men communicating the bladder with the external urinary meatus.

RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SYSTEM

All form a chain, the circulatory is the one that takes it from its origin to the excretory. The digestive is the one that absorbs nutrients, vitamins, etc. The respiratory separates the carbon dioxide and the water in the form of soda, to discard it by the excretory.
