Main Characteristics:

The respiratory system is the group of organs in your body that allow you to breathe.This system includes your arways,your lungs and the blood vessels and the muscle attached  to them work together.

The main Function:

The respiratory system´s the main function is to  supply oxygen to all the parts of your body.It does this through breathing inhalling oxygen-rich air and exhaling air filed with carbon dioxide wich is a waste gas.
