Giraffe

  • These mammals are from Africa , live on pastures and  on different open plains..
  • Giraffes feed mainly on acacia trees and Commiphora (myrrh). Because of their height it is that they can easily tear off the leaves from the tops of these tall trees.
The giraffe is a mammal belonging to the Giraffidae family. It is native to Africa and is the highest land animal in the world. It inhabits in the south of the Sahara and north of Botswana in open spaces, grasslands and savannahs.


A group of animals that in the last three decades has seen its total population reduced from 150,000 to 100,000.
