SIGHT SENSE BY CÉSAR

The eye is the organ of the sight. It is made up of the eyeball and protected by the eyebrows, eyelids and eyelashes.

The parts of the eyeball are:

  1. OPTIC NERVE.- The information in the retina travels to the brain through the optic nerve.
  2. MACULA
  3. RETINA
  4. IRIS
  5. CORNEA.- Light goes through the cornea.
  6. PUPIL.- Light passes through the pupil, the opening of the iris.
  7. LENS.- Light passes through the lens which focuses the image on the retina.

The sight sense is important for me because if we can see, we can do many things like going to the cinema or see the birds flying.
