Magnetism and Electromagnetism:the Radio

THE RADIO.
Radio is a way to send electromagnetic signals over a long distance,to deliver information from one place to another.

HISTORY OF THE RADIO.
Many people worked to make radio possible. After James Clerk Maxwell,  predicted them,
Heinrich Rudolf Hertz in Germany first showed that radio waves exist.

Guglielmo Marconi in Italy made radio into a practical tool of telegraphy, used mainly by ships at sea.
He sometimes said that he invented the radio.

USES OF RADIO.
Radio was first created as a way to send telegraph messages between two people without wires.

But soon two-way radio brought voice communication including Walkie-talkies and eventually movile phones.

The radio converts the electrommagnetic waves called a signal into sounds that humans can hear.
Radios are a part of everyday life, they are used to play music or as alarms in the morning.

Radios also play an inportant role in communications for police, fire, industry and the military.

Radar (Radio Detection And Ranging) detects objects at a distance by bouncing radio waves off them.

Telephony. Mobile telephones uses radio waves to comunicate.

Navigation systems use satellite transmits its position with radio.

RADIO MATERIALS
Consists of an antenna, printed, circuit board, resistors, capacitors, coils, transformers, transistors, integrates circuits and a speaker.
All of these parts are housed in a plastic case.
