Magnetism and Electromagnetism

                                                                    The drill

The drill is an electric tool that makes holes. You can find it in tool shops,
     workshops and tool factories.

                                Who invented them and when?
                               Types

These are some types of drills:

Desktop drill: was made by James Nasmyth in 1838.
Column drill: was made by Joseph Whitword in 1850.
Radial drill:    was made by Sharp, Roberts and Co in 1851

      How does it work?

First, you have to put a screw on the tip of the drill,
then you put the drill where you want to make the hole.
After that you press the button and the drill makes the hole.

Materials that the drill can drill.

DRYWALL(MATERIAL THAT SOME WALLS ARE MADE OF)

       WOOD
       METAL(SOMETIMES)
       HARD PLASTIC(SOMETIMES)
       ETC.

Relationship between the drill and magnetism.

The relationship between the drill and magnetism is that
the electric motors have an electromagnet, that is the thing
   that move the tip.

In my opinion the drill is a very useful tool because if
it didn´t exist we couldn´t make holes.
