                                     MYCOBACTERIUM  TUBERCULOSIS


   The  mycobacterium tuberculosis  ( Koch bacillus) is a bacterium 

  that causes tuberculosis disease.

  It's was discovered by the doctor Robert Koch in 1882.







                                                              CHARACTERISTICS
                                                               

*The bacterium  has shape   of cane or bacillus.

*It's needs oxygen to  live ( it's aerobic bacterium).

*It's very resistant to cold, freezing and desiccation

*It's very sensitive , to the hot , sun light  and ultraviolet light.

*I t's infects all organs mainly the lungs.




                                                               HOW   IS  TRANSMITTED?

When a person  with  tuberculosis coughs or sneezes the air is 


fulled  of drops with the bacterium. If other persons inhale  these


drops, can  to fall ill of tuberculosis.

* Cough     

*Weaknees


 *Fever

*Bloody sputum

*Night sweat


*Slimming


                                 
                                                                         DIAGNOSIS

Bone scan  and  sputum analysis.





                                                 TREATMENT   

Antibiotics for six months.
