                                          ELECTROMAGNETISM AND MAGNETISM

                                                             THE COMPASS

THE COMPASS IS AN INSTRUMENT USED TO THE ORIENTATION AND FOR SEARCHING  INDENTIFICATION, IS VERY USEFULL WHEN YOU ARE IN A FOREST, MOUNTAINS OR DESERT.

IT IS USED TO KNOW WHERE IS THE PLACE  WHERE YOU WANT TO GO.

THIS IS A SIMPLE COMPASS

THE COMPASS HAS 4 DIRECTIONS:

THE NORTH IS 0 DEGREES
THE EAST IS 90 DEGREES
THE SOUTH IS 180 DEGREES
THE WEST IS 270 DEGREES

IS NOT CONFIRMED WHO WAS THE INVENTOR OF THE COMPASS AND WHERE, BUT IN THE FIRST CENTURY WAS USED BY THE CHINESSE.

AROUND 1300, MARINER'S COMPASS WAS INVENTED IN EUROPE.

YOU CAN DOWNLOAD AN APP OF A COMPASS IN THE MOVILPHONE

THE COMPASS HAS AN IMAN THAN INDICATES ALWAYS THE NORTH

Washing Machine

The Washing Machine

The washing machine is used to wash laundry, such as; clothes, table cloths, bed sheets and curtains, the machine uses water and detergent.

The first washing machine draw was in 1767 in Germany. In 1782 Henry Sidgier creates washing machine of metal and wood. Many steam washing machines used until 1904, electricity was invented.

Alva J. Fisher invented first electrical machine. Different washing machines until 1970s micro-controller machines were created, new types are always invented.

There are two types: front-loader (used in Spain) and top-loader.

Washing machine is made of a inner metal drum and outer plastic drum, water inlet, water pump, tube, electric motor, paddles and agitator.

Process:

We program machine it opens the water inlet, water enters with the detergent, it heats the water and the drum start rotating and laundry moves, water inlet opens again, water pumps out.

Clean water comes in the drums and rinses the laundry.

ELECTROMAGNETISM AND MAGNETISM

                                                             THE FRIDGE

Cómo tenemos que organizar la nevera? One of those who invented the refrigerator was charler Tellier, who in 1867 invented the refrigerator to make hielo. In 1868 and 1869 was devoted to the preservation of food.

In 1876 he succeeded in building the first fully functional refrigerator

That same year he fitted out a ship to transport chilled meat. Thus it took place the first long-range transport from Argentina to France. Allowing could consume meat Suramericana in Europe, which would have been unthinkable before. With this began meat heavy traffic between Europe and America.

However, he died in Paris almost destitute. In addition to his invention he left an important work, entitled History of a modern invention: the refrigerator. Paris, 1910.

CURIOSITIES OF ELECTROMAGNETISM

The electrostatic with the study of the interaction between bodies due to their electrical charge. That is, the ability to attract or repel electric bodies.

The electromagnetism is considered as one of the four forces of the universe. The magnetism is known since ancient Greece as the property of certain minerals such as magnetite to attract pieces of iron. They are naturale magnets. It was the chinese who first used magnets as compasses in the twelfth century.
There are some creatures that have magnets inside that work like compasses. It is called bio-magnetism. It seems that this phenomenom the ability to orien migratoy birds should

The scientists have discovered proteins that "act like a compass" are produced in the retina and nerve cells running from the eye to the brain. The migrating birds, butterflies and other animals are able to use the Earth´s magnetic field to help them find their way.

Many animals are thought to use the Earth´s magnetic fields to help them navigate including sharks, sea turtles, birds, insects, wolves, whales and even worms.
The scients are innestigating how they do this exactly, is is a mystery.

THE ELECTROMAGNETISM

THE ELECTROMAGNETISM

THE ELECTROMAGNETISM IS A SET OF ELECTRICITY AND MAGNETISM.

THE GENERATOR FOR EXAMPLE WORKS WITH ELECTROMAGNETISM .

THE GENERATOR CONVERTS MECHANICAL ENERGY TO ELECTRICAL ENERGY. THIS IS ACHIEVED BY THE ACTION OF A MAGNETIC FIELD ON ELECTRIC LEADS.

THE REVERSE PROCESS IS PERFORMED BY AN ELECTRICAL MOTOR THAT TRANSFORMING THE ELECTRICITY ENERGY INTO MECHANICAL

THIS IMAGE IS A GENERATOR OF A PHASE ELECTRIC POWER GENERATING A ROTATING AC A PERMANENT MAGNET NEAR A BOBIN

NOW I PUT A VIDEO THAT IS FOR LEARNT HOW WE CAN DO A GENERATOR AT HOME

I HOPE YOU HAVE LEARNED A LOT

ELECTRIC  BALL

  • The electric ball or plasma globe was invented in 1864 by Nikola Tesla.
  •
It's usually a clear glass sphere filled with a mixture of various noble gases with a high-voltage electrode in the center of the sphere.

This gases are: neon, argon, xenon and krypton.

The energy of the ball, comes from a lower-voltage power supply usually connected to mains power, and flows through a high-voltage transformer combined with a high-frequency electronic oscillator.

The circuit inside the electrode can be considered as a specialized power inverter.

An electrical current is produced within any conductive object near the ball. The glass acts like a dielectric in a capacitor formed between the ionized gas and the hand.

However, the plasma ball stills emits a very high dose of electromagnetic force. Therefore,we use the plasma ball as a EMF emitter.

MATTER CHANGES

The water has 4 states .

CONDENSATION: Condensation is when a gas changes into a liquid.

SOLIDIFICATION: Solidification, is when a liquid

                                                  changes into a solid .

MELTING:Meltig is when a solid changes into

                                                   liquid.

EVAPORATION: Evaporation, is when a liquid

                                                   changes into a gas.
