THE DIGESTIVE SYSTEM:
Hello on this blog i'll tell you some information about the digestive system.
The digestive system breaks down food into nutrients.
The parts that it has are two, the digestive glands and the digestive tract. The food goes all through the digestive tract and then the digestive glands release chemicals in the digestive tract to help with digestion.
The stomach is where the food mixes with gastric juices.
The mouth has salivary glands and it produce saliva, teeth that chew food and a tongue that mixes chewed food saliva and that form a ball of food.
The small intestine Although does not appear by its name is the longest part of the digestion tract. Nutrients pass into through its walls.
The pharynx connects the oesophagus and the mouth.
The oesophagus takes the food to the stomach.
The liver secretes bile and other parts are like pancreas and the large intestine.
