THE CIRCULATORY SYSTEM

THE CIRCULATORY SYSTEM:

·The circulatory system transports nutrients & oxygen to our cells.
·The heart is a muscular organ that pumps blood around the body.
·The blood collects oxygen from the aveoli and nutrients from the small intestine and transports them to all the cells.
·the blood vessels are the tubes through which blood circuilates.

                THE BLOOD

·The blood is a red liquid tissue made up of cells that float in a liquid called PLASMA.

                                THERE ARE 3 TYPES:

·RED BLOOD:cells carry oxygen.

·WHITE BLOOD:cells remove bacteria & viruses from the blood.

·PLATELETS:that are small fragmentso of cells that form blood clots when a blood vessel breaks.

                                THE HEART

The heart is a muscular organ that we have in the circulatory system.The humans and other animals have the heart to live.Pumps through the blood vessels.Around the heart there are a lot of veins that have blood that have oxygen.
