The horse

The horse is a mammal, herbivorous animal. It's big with a long neck and long horsehair in loin and tail.
The female is called "mare" and the brood is called "foal".

There are different types of horses, with different color skin, height and personality. They have a lot opf uses for humans: farming, trsnsport and practicing sport.

• Horses used to live in herds. These herds can be of hundreds of horses.And always they have a leader they all follow.

• Horses can live with goats, sheeps or donkeys. They get bored if they are lonely for a long time. When it happens, they do bad things like: biting the drinker or the door or swallowing air that is bad for their lungs.

• First savage horses were prey for other animals, and that's why they have a ver good view.

• Horses have their eyes at sides (not in the front of its face), so they can see a very big space around themselves but thy can't see in two meters in front of their snout.

• Horses make a lot of different sounds. The mare makes a soft sound to calm the brood.
