The sense of sight its a one of the most important in the living things.
This is a one example of the eye:



They have 11 parts:Lens,Cornea,Pupil,Iris,Ciliary muscle,Vitreous,Choroid,Retina,Fovea,Optic nerve and Sclera.

The eye or the Sense Of Sight works:The eye process wath the eye has seen and this information go to the brain.

Vision is the hability to interpret the enviroment thanks  to the rays of light that reach to the eye , it also means vision to see any action.

Vision and sense of sight is one of the main sensory capabilities of humans and many other animals .

The sense of sight has a reiciving organ , the eye ,the membrane , and the retina . This reicive a luminous impressions and transmit them to the brain through the optical pathways .

                                                         Parts

In the eye there are several parts, in the picture ,
you can see that some of the parts are separated.
The two parts are : The frontal part , that they are 
four parts ; and in the rear , are three parts .
In the frontal part are : The the Cornea , the Iris , the Pupil , and the Lens .
In the other side is the Retina , the Mascular and the most important the Optic Nerve that is connected to the brain .

SENSE OF SIGHT

- We perceive shapes , distance , movement , color , heat and depth by our sense of sight . The organ for the sense of sight is the eye , about the shape of ping - pong ball . The eye alone cannot make sight possible . It works with the brain and in the outside , needs light to be present .

PEOPLE WHO ARE BLIND

Blindness is the inability to see any thing , this is because they cannot see clearly , but only see unfocused shapes or colors , blindness is mostly caused by malnutrition and diseases of old people .

The eye consist in three layers : The autor layer consist of the sclera and the cornea . The middle layer consist of the choroid , ciliary body and iris . The inner layer consists of the retina .

HOW VISION WORKS

Visual perception begings as soon as the eye focuses light onto the retina, where its absorbed by a layer of photoreceptor cells this cell convert eight into electrochemical signals.
These cells are divided in two types, roads and cones, named for their shape. Red cells are responsible for our night vision, and respond well to dim light.
